NOTT-A-THON
VON NEUMANN
About NOTT-A-THON
Nott-A-Thon is an annual hackathon held at the University of Nottingham Malaysia campus. Last year, we honored Ada Lovelace, the pioneering computer programmer. This year, we recognize John von Neumann, the brilliant mathematician behind today's computer architecture.
This year's Nott-A-Thon: Neumann calls on students' brightest minds to develop a system that enhances university life. Whether tackling scheduling, communication, sustainability, inclusion or other pain points, participants have to utilise technology to uplift the student life. Prototype platforms, AI models, applications, hardware systems or other creations that simplify processes, foster connection or enable new possibilities.
Judges from industrial guests and university leadership will evaluate projects based on creativity and potential impact. In honor of von Neumann, the systems and solutions proposed are only limited by your imagination.
